Diplomatic World Institute sign Partnership with The Diplomatic Society in Pretoria, South Africa

Brussels/Pretoria, July 1st, 2020:

Diplomatic World Institute in Brussels has signed a Partnership with Pretoria based The Diplomatic Society. In a next step specific projects of cooperation will be identified.

Says Barbara Dietrich, CEO of Diplomatic World and Diplomatic World Institute: “Africa in many aspects is a very rich continent and provides the solutions for many problems we are faced with here in Europe. Therefore, it is an important step for us to develop joint projects to help Africa to find its equal position.”

Says Kirtan Bhana, Founder and CEO of The Diplomatic Society: “It’s a great pleasure that we have come to this agreement after we have been friends for some years now. Only through global dialogue the world can prosper. The power of our two platforms provide the chance to foster global change in a positive sense.”

Diplomatic World Institute: The fundamental motivation for the foundation of the Diplomatic World Institute was the encouragement of international relations – entente cordiale in its purest sense. It was established as a non-governmental global Think Tank to serve as a bridge organization between diplomacy, economy, culture, and society. It is registered as an „integrated Civil Society Organization“ (iCSO) with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA). The main aim of the Diplomatic World Institute is to contribute the power of diplomacy for peace everywhere on earth. Worldwide cooperation is the only instrument which may help in solving international problems on any level: economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian. The respect of human rights and fundamental freedom of people without differentiation in races, gender or religion should be cultivated and strengthened.

The Diplomatic Society: Seeking out trade and investment opportunities, human solidarity, promoting tourism, or coordinating people to people exchanges are daily duties performed by diplomats. Complementing this critical function, The Diplomatic Society pro-actively connects Governments, Business and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) with an inter-dependent information resource as well as a communication forum that incorporates the print and digital platforms. Founded and based in Pretoria, The Diplomatic Society is located in the capital city that arguably hosts one of the highest concentrations of diplomatic representations in the world today. This proximity to over 140 foreign missions and international organization in the administrative capital has allowed our media platform to develop advisory and consultancy services unique to diplomacy.
